2024 Annual Report

Literally and figuratively, the wind made her presence felt in 2024. At times the winds blew with ferocity, announcing new challenges before the last storm had settled. For many, the tumultuous weather produced some of the strongest headwinds we may have faced in years. For an equal number of us, we faced those winds with compassion and resolve.

This year the Maine Youth Action Network directly facilitated more than 50 trainings reaching over 2,500 young people and adults. MYAN staff worked closely with more than 135 young people as facilitators, summer interns, and team leaders, paying over $200,000 in stipends and wages. Together with the Maine Youth Leadership & Development Council partners, we built relationships and resilience with more than 20,000 youth and adults in Maine.
