Who's Who in Maine
Add Verb Productions
http://www.addverbproductions.com
Add Verb Productions Arts & Education awakens community-based action and understanding of social issues through theatre, creative expression and dialogue. Based in Portland, Maine, Add Verb works locally and nationally to incite dialogue and change around critical social issues. Across the nation, Add Verb's issue-based touring plays are instigating understanding and action around such complex problems as eating disorders, bullying and harassment, dating violence and sexual assault. The plays are followed up by a panel discussion with campus and local advocates, enabling communities to coordinate with their local resources to respond to the issues and take action. Add Verb believes youth want and need support, tools, guidance, and help in not just surviving, but thriving. Add Verb Productions Make It Stop! Youth Action Kit puts all the tools for presenting an entertaining and engaging issue-based play and spearheading discussion and community action right in their hands. Perfect for a wide range of audiences -- peer education, mentoring for younger students, and educating parents and adults about youth reality. For the actors as well as the audience, the play is a rehearsal for doing the right thing in life.
